Here you’ll find important information about our policies and practices, including payment terms, font licensing, restrictions, ownership rights, and more. Deposits and Final Payments:

A 50% deposit may be required before commencing work on your project. An invoice will be issued via email, and payment is due within 30 days of receipt. By submitting the deposit, you agree to these Terms and enter into a contract with Ta’Ron Joyner (1991 Design).

The remaining balance will be invoiced prior to the delivery of final files or logo designs. Delivery may be withheld until full payment is received.

If you are unresponsive for more than 30 days, I reserve the right to invoice you earlier.

Payment plans may be available upon request and are subject to mutual written agreement.

All payments must be completed within 30 days of invoice issuance. Additional fees may be incurred for collection and recovery processes on overdue accounts exceeding 30 days.

Fonts & Typefaces:

Fonts and typefaces used in your project are governed by commercial licensing laws. I will provide information on the typefaces used and their sources in the initial concept presentation. It is your responsibility to acquire any necessary font licenses.

Distribution of fonts or typefaces purchased by me is prohibited. If you wish to use a font I have purchased, you must obtain the appropriate license yourself.

Typically, fonts used in logos do not require additional licensing as they are converted to vector artwork. However, for use in other applications such as websites or print materials, a separate license may be necessary. Font licenses can be obtained from:

Restrictions:

These Terms do not grant you permission to use, modify, alter, or replicate any preliminary ideas, sketches, or visuals. All initial materials remain the property of Ta’Ron Joyner (1991 Design) and may be utilized for future projects.

I retain the right to display the final designs in my portfolio, online galleries, awards, and printed materials. If confidentiality is required, please inform me before finalizing the proposal.

You may modify the final design, but any such modifications are undertaken at your own risk.

Ownership & Copyright:

All preparatory materials, sketches, and visuals are the property of Ta’Ron Joyner (1991 Design) until final payment is received. Upon full payment, ownership of the final artwork and digital files will be transferred to you.

If final payment is not made, all designs and concepts remain the property of Ta’Ron Joyner (1991 Design). In such cases, I reserve the right to repurpose or reuse the ideas.

Unauthorized use or modification of my work will result in immediate legal action.

I may use any artwork or concepts from your project in my portfolio unless otherwise agreed upon.

Trademark & Copyright:

I cannot provide assistance with trademark or copyright registration due to the complex and costly nature of these procedures. If you require trademark registration, please seek independent legal counsel.

Brand Naming:

It is your responsibility to ensure that your company or product name is legally available before commencing the project. I am not liable for any legal issues arising from the name post-project completion.

Name changes during the project are challenging and may result in additional costs and delays. If a name change is necessary after significant work has been completed, I will adjust the project cost to reflect the additional work required.

Ensure that your name is legally clear and does not infringe upon existing trademarks or business names before committing to the project.
